Bridget Thorp
English Language Arts Teacher

In 5th grade, Ms. Bridget discovered the significance of a teacher and decided to become one herself. She graduated with a degree in English Education in 2016 and has spent the last 7 years growing as an educator and learning from the community she’s lived in. Her path has taken her to Kodaikanal, India where she taught for 3 and a half years and grew as a diverse learner. From there, she had the opportunity to teach on a fully rigged sailing ship, the FS Sørlandet, where she understood the importance of community and a global mindset. Now she is returning home to Hawaii, where she was born and raised, excited to see what lessons she will learn with the SEEQS community and the ʻāina.

"I work at SEEQS to be a part of a program that cares not only for academics, but for each individual in our community and the land we live in. To be a part of a school that sees the value in a holistic education is a true dream that I want to be a part of."
