Watch a four-minute video showing how students spend their time at SEEQS.
Listen to the inspiration behind SEEQS from founder Buffy Cushman-Patz!
Recorded at the TedX Honolulu Salon, June 29th 2013.
The School for Examining Essential Questions of Sustainability (SEEQS) is a new secondary public charter school in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. We opened our doors to our founding 6th and 7th grade classes in August 2013, and are expanding to serve more than 120 6th through 8th grade students in the 2014-2015 School Year!
SEEQS offers an interdisciplinary project-based, community-based, tuition-free secondary school experience for Oahu families.
The SEEQS difference is how we spend our time. Our weekly schedule reflects what we value most in a learning environment. We invite you to explore our values, examine our weekly schedule, and read about our founding principles.
We welcome you to be part of the SEEQS community by learning about how to enroll your student, volunteering, partnering, helping us fulfill our wishlist, or helping ensure we have sufficient funding through our first year by supporting us.
