Amber Jodoin
English Language Arts Teacher

Amber Jodoin recently relocated to Oahu from California, her home state. Growing up, she was fortunate to have spent her time surrounded by national forests and on the ocean. She has developed a deep respect for nature and our responsibility as caretakers of our planet. Since moving to Hawai'i, she has enjoyed reconnecting to her love of the outdoors through hiking and freediving, as well as searching for volunteer and community building opportunities.

Her love for teaching began with volunteer work in her mother's classroom, who has been an constant inspiration throughout her career. She completed her BFA with a focus in Art History at the Laguna College of Art and Design and continued to work in various educational positions since. She brings a student centered approach to teaching, with great care placed toward balancing the needs of each individual. At SEEQS, she looks forward to learning from those around her and encouraging students to find what sustainability means to them.

"I work at SEEQS because I believe in the importance of sustainability education for the students who are our future and for our community that is our now."
