What is SEEQS?
SEEQS: the School for Examining Essential Questions of Sustainability (SEEQS) is a new secondary public charter school in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. We opened our doors to our founding 6th and 7th grade classes in August 2013 and expanded to serve more than 120 6th through 8th grade students in the 2014-2015 School Year, 150 students in the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 School Years, and now serves approximately 180 students in grades six through eight. SEEQS' long term vision is to expand to serve students in grades six through twelve.
SEEQS offers an interdisciplinary project-based, community-based, tuition-free secondary school experience for Oahu families.
SEEQS equips its students with the skills and habits of mind for success in the 21st century, including critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity. Learners engage in a project-based, collaborative curriculum centered around multi-disciplinary examination of questions essential to our collective future.
