Strategic Initiatives and Special Projects Manager

SEEQS is hiring a Special Projects Manager to provide focused support for special projects and strategic initiatives of highest priority, as determined in collaboration with School Leader. This will include preparing and executing on project plans, including regular reporting on progress/timing and, where applicable, performance against forecasted financial objectives and project budget.​

The Special Projects Manager will be an individual  with:

  • Strong project management skills and a sense of ownership over projects that drive efficiency and excellence

  • Passion for driving innovation, disrupting the status quo, trying new approaches, and tackling problems from many angles to find creative solutions
  • Ability to work well under pressure and keep track of multiple projects/deadlines
  • Flexibility and openness to feedback
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Prior experience working in schools and/or non-profit organizations​
  • Familiarity with Google-based documents and email, and social media platforms

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute projects supporting school initiatives and goals 
  • Produce intra-school communications
  • Assist in the development and implementation of external marketing efforts
  • Facilitate the on-campus experience for visitors
  • Assist in the production of reporting for various external audiences
  • Identify opportunities to expand data collection and measurement of student outcomes
  • Manage the collection, storage, and dissemination of scholarly articles, resources, and information related to education industry knowledge and trends
  • Attend conferences, events, educational opportunities

  1. Resume stating your qualifications and relevant experience (max 2 pgs)
  2. Statement of interest that answers the question “Why are you an excellent candidate for our school?”  Limit your response to no more than one page, single-spaced, 12 pt. font, with one inch margins.

Hiring Process

  1. SEEQS will review submitted materials and schedule first-round interviews with select candidates.
  2. Candidates invited for a second interview with the SEEQS team may be asked to perform "in the moment" writing and other tasks. Candidates must provide three to five references from supervisors, colleagues, and/or employees: letters and/or contact information. 

Final candidates will be expected to complete an employment application and provide college or university transcripts. Hiring is contingent upon successful completion of employment verification, background check, and fingerprinting.

The successful candidate will be hired initially on a part-time basis, approximately 20 hours per week, with potential to move to a full-time position.  Pay will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and may be subject to the HGEA salary scale.
